Recycled silver Victorian sixpence
This beautiful handcrafted necklace pendant is perfect for the music lover in your life, be that you or someone close! As always, each and every necklace pendant is handmade and completely made from recycled raw materials. The raw material is a sterling silver sixpence coin circa 1890’s. The coins i use are unwanted by coin collectors due to wear, etc.
I start by choosing a lovely sixpence with just the right amount of wear, not too much to destroy the relevance but similarly not to little so that the coin details are fighting with the design for attention. I then hand draw the clef on to the surface of the coin. This basic guide / outline is then embellished and detailed with a traditional jewellers saw.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
