Recycled silver half crown
A wonderful curious fox necklace handcrafted from 100% recycled / upcycled raw materials. A Sterling silver 1890’s sterling silver Victorian half crown coin has been transformed. These coins are beautiful and imbued with history. Unfortunately the majority are relatively uncollectible due to major area of ‘wear’ due to a life of commerce!
Combined with a high scrap silver price means that most are destined to be melted down, the history disappearing with it. Far better that lovely old coin be reborn as a lovely curious fox necklace! Obviously the ‘off-cut’ of the remaining silver coin is packed with the silver fox for your interest and to keep its history, origin and story alive.
You are welcome to choose a particular necklace length, type of charm at the catch, etc. Also please feel free to suggest a short simple inscription for the reverse side of the necklace for added personalisation.
Handcrafted & Recycled in Cambridge.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen). The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
