Forget me not earrings – handmade and recycled sterling silver florin coin.

These delicate sterling silver studs are tricky little pieces to cut, carve and inlay. The space is very small, at only 12 mm diameter working area. Also, the fine details have to reflect the dainty nature of the flower itself. The special earrings are hand-made from a Victorian Florin silver coin with 22ct gold inlaid for the stamens. Forget me nots are a symbol of fidelity and being truthful to someone you love.

This petit French flower has been adopted as the flower to represent Alzheimer’s Societies. This means the flower has both romantic and familial connotations perfectly suitable for a little silver gift. Each pair is completely unique, contemporary, ethical and beautiful. I present the earrings with a sterling silver ‘off-cut’ which connects them to their history.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
