Recycled Victorian silver
The leaping hare wishes it could fly and the little robin wishes it could build a nest as nicely as the hare. But together they are quite special.
Each one of these beautiful rings is crafted from only the finest Victorian era sterling silver. I only use sterling silver that has found its way to me due to being unwanted by dealers due to no longer being part of a set. I love to ‘adopt’ these little orphans and reinvent them as gorgeous wearable jewellery. Each ring is completely unique, individual and original, 100% ethical and recycled!
The design is freehand drawn onto the surface of the of the silver. This basic sketch is embelished and detailed with a miniture hand saw and micro drill. Once cut out the piece is formed into a lovely ring. The ring is then polished to a shiny or brushed matte finish. I always feel quite pleased when holding the finished ring in my fingers, hours earlier it had been a relatively unattractive, old piece of silver coinage or cutlery.
Size : Approx widest point 12 mm

A beautifully made ring, I am truly thrilled with it. Even better than it looks in the photo. Gorgeous!
