“The heart shaped pair of owls are crafted from a recycled, worn, uncollectible sterling silver 100 year old half crown coin. It is hand sculpted, carved, cut and engraved. The owls have 24ct gold eyes . I drew the idea for this necklace whilst having fun at Glastonbury Festival and it is an absolute joy to get the opportunity to create, so don’t hesitate! A whimsical and beautiful necklace which is 100% handmade from recycled raw materials and is completely unique.” – The Growler.

“The heart shaped pair of owls are crafted from a recycled, worn, uncollectible sterling silver 100 year old half crown coin. It is hand sculpted, carved, cut and engraved. The owls have 24ct gold eyes . I drew the idea for this necklace whilst having fun at Glastonbury Festival and it is an absolute joy to get the opportunity to create, so don’t hesitate! Another lovely design feature of this piece is that it can be worn the other way around as a silver heart, with the two owls a secret for the wearer. This silver heart can be engraved with two entwined initials upon request. Obviously the ‘off-cut’ of the remaining silver coin is packed with the silver invitation for your interest and to keep its history, origin and story alive. You are also welcome to choose a heart, star, crescent moon or oak leaf little adornment to swing from the clutches of the owls, see options for extra details. The price for this piece also includes the silver chain.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Extra small : approx 170 mm

Small size : approx 185 mm

Medium size : approx 195 mm

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
