Raven ring – handmade and recycled sterling silver.

This beautiful little raven moon ring been recycled primarily from an English sterling silver florin coin. These coins are unwanted by coin collectors due to wear marks from being used to buy and sell over one hundred years ago.

Rather than let them simply be melted down for the silver content I absolutely love coming up with designs and ideas to transform them into something desirable. By doing this the historical details are retained, simultaneously adding depth, interest and intrigue to the design.

The raven and crescent moon have been individually hand cut, carved and engraved from the silver shilling with a traditional jewellers hand tools.  The unusual harvest moon is recycled from an old copper penny, which is a lovely warm natural colour.  The rest of the ring is entirely recycled sterling silver.

Each ring is completely unique, contemporary, ethical and beautiful.  The band is approx 3mm wide with the main raven moon element being approx 10mm

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
