Very me!
So, with me having a big birthday coming up and with the knowledge that the hub would soon be asking for gift ideas , I very quickly stumbled upon The Hairy Growler website. I was in awe 😍.
We ordered the “Willow leaves “ necklace (my eldest daughter’s name) and my brother kindly added a special rune to the order. Let’s just say I don’t think I will ever take this off!
The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding and certainly sturdy enough for every day wear! I would order again in a heartbeat (and probably will 😀)

Beautiful and so special Posy rings
For our hand fasting this summer Les has created the perfect unique and personal rings for us where our special words are for us to see and the world just sees a beautiful gold wedding ring. By using old 22ct gold the rings have such a warm soft glow to them – eco gold is so much nicer to look at. He is such a skilled craftsman and you can see the love and care that has gone into making these with the detailing we asked for done perfectly. The wonderful wooden presentation box was an unexpected and glorious surprise and will act as a great way to bring the rings to us in the ceremony. Thank you Les for making our day even more special.

D & R, I am so happy to read that you are pleased with your special rings, the 22ct gold is the oldest gold I have recycled, it is beautiful. The box was made from a branch of our lovely Ash tree outside the workshop door. ((It had to be lopped off as it was getting tangled in our phone line and knew it was going to be perfect for what I had in mind.)) My mum absolutely loves the latest treasure I ordered from Les for her birthday. It’s extra special as it’s ‘from’ her newborn grandchild, and I knew that it had to be a hairy growler piece of jewellery.

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted.
I bought the running hare earrings, partly because a friend has a pair from years ago. I adore them. The earrings are for me and the beautiful antique spoon is a gift for a friend who also a loves hares. So happy. Looking at a rune charm necklace next, when I can afford it! Thank you so much. *****
The Bee ( made from a silver shilling)
I absolutely adore my Bee pendent made out of a silver shilling. This isn’t the only piece of jewellery I own by The Hairy Growler – I also have the heart with wings pendent and I plan on getting lots more jewellery as I am blown away by his amazing talent and love the fact that this jewellery is recycled. I also love the personalisation on the back of my bee – very cute !
Also having the shilling that my bee was cut out of is really lovely, and I am loving how my jewellery was packed – really beautifully ❤️ I can’t wait to get my next piece of beautiful craftsmanship!
