Recycled silver coins

The universal sound of self and universe. (and is chanted once or three times to begin many yoga classes) This wonderful sound and symbol has so many beautiful meanings to so many different people. It insists upon being manifested in gorgeous recycled silver than can be worn, celebrated, ‘lived with’ and enjoyed as handcrafted, original, contemporary jewellery!

This shining bracelet is meticulously and lovingly crafted using 100% recycled silver coins. Links of the bracelet are made from beautiful small sterling silver threepence coins. A lovely Sterling silver Florin coin circa 1840 is used to create the decorated ‘Om’ link and a sweet silver shilling is used to make the Lotus flower at the handmade ‘shepards hook’ safety catch. Each one is completely handcrafted and ultra unique.

For added interest and provenance for the wearer ‘off-cuts’ of the ‘donor’ recycled silver coins are packed with the bracelet as a source of interest and a reminder of the recycled nature of the bracelet, the history of the silver and the infinite flow of energy throughout the universe.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Medium size : approx 195 mm

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
