Silver wolf pendant – Recycled silver Shilling

Each pendant is carefully handcrafted to order, using only recycled silver shillings. The coins themselves are the perfect medium for this beautiful design; inline with a love of nature using these coins is the perfect ethical and green solution. No new silver is destructively ‘mined’ and old, uncollectible pure silver coins are saved from the ‘melting pot’ of bullion merchants so some of their history and story live on.

Once the design has been freehand sketched on to the coin it is carefully hand cut and carved using traditional hand saws, chisels and files. This traditional process allows me to have a close connection to each piece, ensuring the end result is personal and unique.

Unique, handmade and recycled in Cambridge, England.

    We absolutely love our howling wolves! I ordered two – one for me and my daughter – as we were devastated at losing our beloved dog and he looked just like the wolf on the necklace. Each one is absolutely beautiful and subtly different in the detail making them unique. Les is lovely and said he would make a fitting tribute for our dog and he certainly has – thank you.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Extra small : approx 170 mm

Small size : approx 185 mm

Medium size : approx 195 mm

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)

XL size approx 225 mm (includes an extra link; i.e. another lovely flower, butterfly, bird, etc section custom made)
