Recycled penny coins – Stonehenge solstice and equinox amulets
These pendants represent a time when the importance of nature and our earth was a prime focus, held dearly close to us. The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure?
To celebrate my love of these stones I am combining the recycling of unused raw materials and using the inherent history of the raw materials to add weight, relevance and interest to the piece.
Each one takes several hours of precise hand piercing with a traditional jewellers saw. You can choose which solstice you want to celebrate, treat yourself to both or share them with a friend. You can even request a couple of initials to be engraved on the reverse.
Handmade and recycled in Cambridge, UK.
Size : Approx 30 mm diameter

My husband was over the moon when I gave him this coin necklace for his 50th and he loves it – so beautiful and unique – I have bought several coins from Harry And also had some unique commissions made by him when babies have been born in the family !

I would love both of these pendants as they are so lovely! I had better get doing the lottery as I want a Glastonbury Festival one too! Can’t wait to visit your stall in 2015, ticket success in October permitting! 🙂
