Recycled vintage spoon
These gorgeous alternative elephant and umbrella earrings are hand pierced from an old discarded dessert spoon. Each one has been cut from the ‘side walls’ of the spoon’s ‘bowl’. This gives the elephants design a lovely natural curve. They come complete with the original vintage ‘donor’ spoon which beautifully connects the wearer with the earrings prior history and green ethical origins.
Every pair is the result of a ‘free-hand’ design, thus every pair is completely unique and individual. Beautiful and ethically sound!
The designs are carefully hand drawn onto the spoon and then embellished with a traditional jewellers saw. Each winged elephant is not only completely unique and original but also totally green and ethical. You are welcome to specify a finish for your new, earrings, satin brushed matte finish (shown) or highly polished finish.
Handmade and completely recycled in Cambridge, UK. Complete with the finest sterling silver ear wires and ‘donor’ spoon.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen). The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
